[CSR Activity] Launch of Support Program for Ukrainian Refugee Student to Enter Top Overseas Universities
Sekigin LLC (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo) is pleased to announce the launch of a support project starting in May 2025 to assist a displaced Ukrainian student in entering a top overseas university, with the ultimate goal of working for the United Nations and contributing to peacebuilding activities.
Background of the Support Lisa, a student who fled Ukraine due to the war and is currently living in Japan, has a dream of working for international organizations to realize a "world without war." To achieve this, she needs to study international law and international relations at prestigious universities in the West. However, covering the high costs of exam preparation while living as an evacuee has been extremely difficult.
Details of Support: Japan's First Free Provision Program ELT English School, operated by Sekigin, resonates deeply with Lisa's strong determination to "enter an overseas university and dedicate herself to world peace." We have decided to provide the following learning programs completely free of charge:
IELTS Preparation Lessons: One-on-one instruction by native instructors who are former IELTS examiners.
Essay & Interview Preparation: Comprehensive preparation required for overseas university admissions.
Learning Environment: Provision of a laptop for online learning.
Livelihood Support: Introduction to part-time tutoring jobs.
Future Outlook Our mission is "Enriching the world with technology and talent." We are confident that this support will pave the way for Lisa to be accepted into a prestigious overseas university and proceed to her future peace activities. We will continue to contribute to personal growth and skill development through our EdTech businesses.
